A Double Dose of Warhammer – E3 2010

For anyone unfamiliar, Warhammer 40k is a massive tabletop strategy game that utilized detailed figurines and is a source of obsession for many people worldwide. It is also the name of a few crappy video games. It looks like the history of garbage is going to come to an end, at last. At this year’s E3, Warhammer 40k hit people with a double whammy and showcased not one, but TWO new games. First up, you’ve got Warhammer 40k: Dark Millennium Online. This is an MMO that, unlike its predecessor (4:15), actually looks really good. Since Warhammer 40k is literally nothing but constant war, there is a heavy emphasis placed on PvP. So if you love nothing more than blowing the shit out of friends and strangers alike, then look no further than the trailer below.

Now, lets say you don’t want to play an MMO, but you still want that Warhammer 40k badassness. Well, sir or madam, have we got a treat for you! Warhammer 40k: Space Marine is a balls to the wall third person shooter that throws you right into the middle of orcs, machines, lasers, and blood. It actually kind of makes me think of Gears of Warcraft. Thats not a bad thing.
